Quoceant Expand Engineering Team

Quoceant are delighted to welcome onboard Euan Reilly and George Roberts. Both started working with us in Autumn 2021 and bolster our existing mechanical engineering team. Euan and George, join Quoceant during a busy time for us and will support our projects across the marine energy sectors as well as inputting into Quoceant led design projects to develop innovative enabling technology.

Euan is a chartered mechanical engineer with over eight years’ experience working in the subsea oil and gas sector. He has a passion for design and keen desire to work towards a net-zero energy future. Euan brings experience in the design of complex subsea hydraulic and mechanical systems and in-depth knowledge of offshore codes and standards. Since starting at Quoceant, Euan has been working as part of the team undertaking detailed design of the wave energy system for client Marine Power Systems.

George is a recent graduate engineer with a keen interest in control and dynamics. He holds a 1st Class Honours in mechanical engineering from University of Nottingham where he was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s award for academic excellence. Since joining us, George has been gaining experience by supporting our Wave Energy Scotland project to develop an innovative marine quick connector system, 'the Q-Connect'.

Quoceant are no longer actively recruiting but always welcome CV’s from those that have a keen interest in marine renewables coupled with proven engineering expertise. If that’s you please feel free to get in touch at work@quoceant.com.
