Quoceant are getting ready for the Scottish Renewables Marine Conference on the 13th of September. We will be presenting and exhibiting at the flagship marine conference held in Inverness.
Our Director, Richard Yemm will be giving a talk in session 2B, "Constructing the First Tidal Arrays". In the session Richard will outline Quoceant's activity in the tidal sector and discuss how our past experience working in the wave energy sector is offering lessons and new perspectives relevant to the tidal sector and beyond.
Quoceant will also be jointly exhibiting at the conference with Artemis Intelligent Power Limited. Quoceant and Artemis have been working together on a Wave Energy Scotland project to develop a novel power take-off system. The collaborative project is working to integrate Artemis Digital Displacement® technology into the state of the art power take-off system that was previously demonstrated in the Pelamis wave energy converter by the Quoceant team. Our stand at SR Marine 2016 will include project updates, models and video.
