Quoceant are delighted to be presenting and attending RenewableUK's - Renewable Marketplace event to be held in Liverpool in next month. Our Director, Richard Yemm will be delivering a talk entitled "From Wave to Wind" in which he will discuss our experience in wave power development and how elements of the technology innovation and operational approach developed for deep water wave power may have much to offer floating and fixed offshore wind. "The wave power sector in the UK has suffered the loss of some of its major players over the past couple of years. However, the knowledge and experience gained by the engineers leading these highly innovative projects is now available to deliver benefit to the wider offshore renewables industry. In his talk, Richard Yemm, Director at Quoceant, will discuss where these synergies lie and provide illustrative case studies covering a number of key areas of technology cross-over including; subsea connection and cable managements systems, maintenance strategies and weather tolerance, and approach to technology qualification in the marine environment." - conference abstract.
